Marcus Held is a media artist and critter scholar from Leipzig, Germany, dealing mainly with the relationship between nature/culture and human/non-human relationships in various forms of media (video, photography, and sound). He works as an artist and as field biologist with a professional focus on entomology and ornithology.

Marcus Held ist Medienkünstler und Critter-Forscher aus Leipzig, Deutschland. Er beschäftigt sich hauptsächlich mit dem Verhältnis von Natur/Kultur und Mensch/Nicht-Mensch Beziehungen in verschiedenen Medien (Video, Fotografie und Sound). Er arbeitet als Künstler und Feldbiologe mit den Schwerpunkten Entomologie und Ornithologie.
