AUSLAUFENDE UMWELTEN
2020 EXCURSION and FILM PROGRAM for D21 Artspace Leipzig (curation together with Nanna Heidenreich)We would like to invite you to run out with us, to run out, to run over, to digress, in order to unlearn together the fixation on
the pointing finger or to de-hierarchise
and redistribute the pointing fingers in dealing with "nature out there", to switch
off the learning objectives. We want to
take the idea of the excursion as a space
of possibility for experiencing and grasping
on multiple levels as a starting point for asking questions together about and in
our environment. In two different fields we have linked people, films, theses and approaches to new contexts in which we see the potential to learn and reflect more about human-nature, nature-culture, non-human-human relations.
In doing so, we also want to think about and negotiate the form of our movements, appropriations, regimes of looking and concepts. We share our path with artists, theorists, environmental historians and natural scientists, whom we invite to help shape these excursions and set impulses
in the fields. The paths lead us from the physical world to the cinematic world and vice versa.

Wir möchten dazu einladen, mit uns herauszulaufen, auszulaufen, überzulaufen, abzuschweifen, um gemeinsam die Fixierung auf den Zeigefinger zu verlernen oder die Zeigefinger im Umgang mit „der Natur da draußen“ zu enthierarchisieren und umzuverteilen, die Lernziele abzuschalten. Die Idee der Exkursion als Möglichkeitsraum für das Erfahren und Begreifen auf multiplen Ebenen wollen wir als Ausgangspunkt nehmen, um zusammen Fragen an unsere und in unserer Umwelt zu stellen. Wir haben in zwei verschiedenen Feldern Personen, Filme, Thesen und Herangehensweisen zu neuen Zusammenhängen verknüpft, in denen wir das Potential sehen, mehr über Mensch-Natur‑, Natur-Kultur‑, Nichtmensch-Mensch-Verhältnisse zu erfahren und zu reflektieren.
Dabei wollen wir auch die Form unserer Bewegungen, Aneignungen, Blick- und Begriffsregime mitdenken und verhandeln. Wir teilen unseren Weg mit Künstler*innen, Theoretiker*innen, Umwelthistoriker*innen und Naturkundler*innen, die wir einladen diese Exkursionen mitzugestalten und Impulse in den Feldern zu setzen. Dabei führen uns die Wege von der physischen Welt in die filmische und andersherum.
